Phoenix Contact has equipped the industrial WLAN access points from the WLAN 5100 series with a cluster management function. This makes it easier to configure and manage access points (APs) in small and medium-sized WLAN networks.
The new multi-channel I/O expansion modules for the Radioline wireless system from Phoenix Contact, with its compact 17.5 mm housing, now make it possible to transfer up to eight digital signals.
Phoenix Contact has added several new outdoor web panels to its HMI product range. The panels feature front surfaces protected against dust and splash water (protection class IP 67) and an anti-glare display that can be read in full sunlight.
In a typical fiber installation, laying extra fiber cores as spares is an industry practice. Whenever there is any failure, these spares can be swapped over to form the new ring instead of having to lay new replacement cables.
