Nomination for Best Employee

    At Phoenix Contact, we strive to create a culture of appreciation and recognition of employees contributions through various awards and acknowledgement programs, as we believe that these programs create a positive work environment, improve employee morale and motivate high performers.

    As such, the Best Employee Award is established to formally recognize and honor outstanding contributions by an employee who demonstrates extra efforts that have a positive effect on fellow colleagues as well as on the goals of the company.

    This award, which will be given on every half-yearly, will leads to one of the most prestigious company award - Best Employee Award of the year - at the end of this year.

    As in the past years, the winners for the "Best Employee 1st-half and 2nd-half" will be the nominees of the Best Employee Award of the year.

    Now, I would like to invite you to vote for "Best Employee 1st-half 2014" whom in your opinion, has showed commitment, enthusiasm and right attitude that makes him/her pleasant to work with. I would like to urge you to nominate based on the attributes demonstrated by a fellow colleague, and not only base on the friendship you have with your colleague.

    If a colleague, based on your observation has consistently shown outstanding or extraordinary performance in the following areas, he/she will most likely deserve your votes, please do not hesitate to nominate them!

    Reliable - consistently produce work on time and demonstrates service beyond regular assignments that is especially meritorious;
    Self Improvement - initiates developmental activities to improve job knowledge or work performance;
    Teamwork - work well in any team situation and contributes significantly in team approaches.

    The nominees of this award will be all employees within Southeast Asia, who has been with the company for more than 3 months as of 30 Jun 2014 and are not part of the Management.
