As a Malaysian, I grew up living in landed property houses; we are lucky in the sense where we have more land area for the individual to enjoy. Why do we love landed property so much? I was introduced to HDB (Housing and Development Board) flats when I came to Singapore. As we all know, Singapore is one of the smallest countries in the world where 5.6 million people are sharing a 719km² piece of land. Living in Singapore, you will definitely have to forgo your luxury to enjoy space. However, there is always a brighter side to things!
To my surprise I actually love my life living in a HDB flat. Let me associate living in HDB flats with our multi-level terminal block – PTRV and PTMC so you understand why.
HDB Flats
Despite the fact that I have limited space, things are much cozier for me and the satisfying feeling of “less is more”. With 3 of us in a family, living in a 3-bedroom house is just perfect. Individual housing address allows us to identify our unit easily. It helps even more when we have our gate painted in a different color.
