As one of two PROFINET international training centers within Germany, the Phoenix PROFINET Competence Center has been authorized to train certified PROFINET installers and engineers and I am one of the Certified Profinet Engineer trained by Phoenix PROFINET Competence Center.

The extensive practical experience from the activities of the Phoenix PROFINET Competence Center in the service area has a direct influence on the training contents thanks to active cooperation in the training workgroup.

In the qualification of your staff, the certification ensures that the standards defined by the PNO are complied with and applied over the complete lifecycle of your PROFINET-equipped system – from planning, through startup, to running operation.

PROFINET has special requirements that must be taken into account during project planning and startup of the system. Therefore, this course is aimed at persons who are responsible for carrying out these tasks.

Apart from the theoretical knowledge about network technology and PROFINET specifications, a number of practical tasks give a comprehensive insight into the PROFINET technology.

The participants get acquainted with the various diagnostic methods and the proper maintenance of the PROFINET system. At the end of this course, the participants are capable of planning and operating PROFINET networks independently. They can also carry out a diagnosis of the network and identify as well as rectify the errors in PROFINET.

Upon successful completion of the final examination, the participant will receive a certificate recognized by the PNO which certifies him as a Certified PROFINET Engineer.
