Complex testing tasks in switching systems can now be completed quickly and safely using Phoenix Contact’s new FAME testing system. Alongside the testing block built into the cabinet door, this offers a range of operating, testing, and dummy plugs.
The distinguishing feature of this system is that it automatically short-circuits the transformer when any connectors are replaced. Together with the touch-proof design, this ensures the best possible measuring safety. The modular system structure enables cost-efficient testing layouts based on the following premise: Each application must be provided with the correct number of pins.
All switching tasks for measuring current and voltage transformations can be completed very quickly thanks to the versatile Clipline complete bridge system. In particular, this provides easy identification of the switching states through the use of short circuit bridges on the exterior of the cabinet door. Testing lines can be connected quickly and securely using either standardized 4 mm safety test plugs or fork-type cable lugs.
The patented wall mount is extremely rugged and helps to compensate for any size variances in the panel cut-outs, which were usually created manually.
