Combicon ConfiguratorPhoenix Contact manufactures 1000s of different PCB terminal blocks and connectors.  Having a large number of options to select the ideal part for your application is great and shows the capability of phoenix Contact,  but to find the part you require can be a minefield.

Phoenix Contact has made this task a whole lot easier with our new and improved Combicon product configurator with 3D visualisation!

You can access the configurator online and we have split the options down to the 3 product areas:

  • PCB terminal blocks – Configure your desired PCB terminal block. Use our extended portfolio and choose your desired product according to the colour, printing, and coding.
  • PCB Connectors – Find the right connector and configure it with different colours, printing or coding. The configurator creates your desired product in just a few clicks.
  • PCB Headers – Headers provide a reliable and easy-to-install connection between the PCB and connector. The configurator shows you numerous versions of your headers according to the colour, printing, and coding.

Once you have inputted your application requirements for example pitch, current and voltage, the configurator automatically selects the right part for the job!  Once you select the part then you can select the colour, the number of poles/positions required and also if you want the pins coded to prevent miss mating, you can easily do this too.  Further to this you can then add your own marking/printing on the part.

At the end of the configuration you will also receive a solution ID, which you can send directly from the configurator to e-mail. You can access the configuration again at any time by entering the solution ID in the search field on our website, so you can always access your previous work/solutions.

This tool gives you full and dynamic control with better realisation of the part selection process.
