The Phoenix Contact Heavycon range of modules continues to increase in number and technical diversity.
Its another first for Phoenix Contact, offering a single module capable of accommodating 6mm conductors. As you can see in the images to the right, the new modules are available in 2, 3 and 4 way options.

Good morning everyone. If you’re reading this, you survived the weekend. Perhaps like me, you watched incredulously as your neighbour excitedly covered the whole frontage of their house in Christmas paraphernalia in the first half of November. Be vigilant, these people walk among us.
Anyway, back to reality.
A significant amount of effort goes into maintaining and developing our website to help you find the right products for your applications. It’s one of our best kept secrets that we have a suite of product configurators that all reside in the same place on our website.
If you go to the Phoenix Contact UK homepage and select the ‘Products’ drop down button, you will be presented with the image below. On the right of the screen you will also see ‘ADDITIONAL RESOURCES’ and below that ‘Configurators’. This is where they all live.

Anyone who has ever tried to configure a heavy duty connector from the main components (hood, base, inserts, glands etc) will know that the number of components to choose from is huge. Our innovative ‘snap-in one piece frame’ makes the completion of your connector build that much easier and faster. The snap-in frame fits in all housings from the HEAVYCON STANDARD, EVO, and ADVANCE series. Modules and frames are compatible with the DIN market standard. An added benefit of our frame is that you can actually remove and insert modules whilst they are in the connector base and can even be moved/replaced whilst in the panel!
