The COMBI plug-in system enables the time-saving and modular configuration of your application. Its distinguishing feature is its standardised plug-in zone. This makes it possible to freely combine basic terminal blocks, which are available with screw, push-in, spring-cage, and fast connection technology. The nominal data of up to 41 A and 1000 V has made a plug-in system for signal and power wiring possible.
Both the terminal blocks and the connectors are touch proof. In addition, all connectors can be individually assembled, i.e., they can be adapted to match the required number of positions in each application.
The COMBI plug-in system can be combined with the CES cable entry system (see Catalogue 4) by routing the pre-assembled cables with a high degree of protection (IP54) into control cabinets and housing in a manner that saves space. This produces a quick and low-cost alternative to using heavy-duty connectors.
The COMBI plug-in system offers users unlimited flexibility. From supplying the control cabinet and the power and control components, right up to the quick installation of distributed system parts, always delivering the perfect solution.
The advantages of this system are numerous. Plug-in components within the control cabinet can be both installed and uninstalled quickly and easily. The plug-in ring feeders guarantee the safe supply of power between the control cabinets. Free hanging couplings are not only suitable for wiring in the smallest of spaces; they can also be used to lengthen pre-assembled cables without any problems. COMBI base strips enable the plug-in wiring of electronic devices or component.
PT 2,5-HEXA/3P- Unmatched flexibility, speed of installation and future proofing
Benefits include:
- Reduction of assembly time & number of components
- Shortened processing time in the switch cabinet
- No additional DIN rails necessary
- Less space needed in the switch cabinet
- No cable ducts necessary
- No cabinet specialists necessary
Cable Entry Systems
The CES cable entry systems allow users to route up to 40 pre-assembled connectors into the control cabinet while maintaining degree of protection IP54/65. In the case of increased requirements, such as a degree of protection of up to IP67 or connecting control cabinets in harsh industrial environments, the DUPLICON is the ideal connection component.
