In the past three years, Phoenix Contact has quickly become one the biggest global companies for industrial marking solutions. Predominantly this would be terminal marking, cable identification and device labelling, and although Phoenix Contact has one of the largest ranges in these areas, we are now producing marking for specific Industries.

We have extended our system marking range with a coordinated system of marking labels, coloured media marking labels according to DIN 2403, label holders, and corresponding fixing material. The power plant identification system (KKS) is an identification system for the uniform and systematic identification of power plants.

Already we’ve had success in large coal and gas power stations where engineers are using our state of the art Bluemark CLED printer to quickly and efficiently print up to 105 labels per hour with UV light curing technology. From our selection of different label carriers and colour coding tags, Phoenix Contact have made it quick and easy to identify all areas of a Power Plant and in the harshest of environments. The system is robust and meets the requirements of power plant environments, which means that it can withstand high thermal, chemical, and mechanical loads.

Intelligent marking.

Thanks to the Bluemark CLED marking system, the new Power Plant markers can now also be printed with or without an RFID transponder, in addition to the existing product range. The marking labels are available as a basic version seen above or as an intelligent version with integrated RFID HF or UHF transponder and offer numerous advantages. This technology makes maintenance and identification work more efficient and user-friendly, enabling you to move away from carrying around a clip-board and pen to do maintenance checks, to simply ticking boxes on our handheld receivers and uploading to a PC.
