Whilst working on our latest campaign, I completed a bit of research. Did you know over a million nano PLC’s were sold on a yearly basis?!
Having learnt this, I thought I would let you know about our product offer.
The micro PLC market is established with many suppliers, where Phoenix Contact differs is the level of connectivity. NanoLine offers great options in regard to connectivity with Ethernet, RS232, RS485, USB and GSM, this will enable you to simply integrate your small application to a larger system or easily connect to other components.
The Ethernet communications module provides a Modbus TCP connection to the nanoLine controller. Through this, inputs, outputs, program flags, system flags, timers, counters and registers may be read and written. This level of connectivity sets nanoLine apart from the other manufacturers.
The nanoLine also offers great flexibility. The base unit has a level of Digital or Analog I/O with the ability to add up to three extra modules expanding your input and output options depending on your application. You also have the option to include an operator display- attached to the base unit or mounted remotely- again another flexible choice for you.
Software
The nanoLine is programmed using Phoenix Contact’s nanoNavigator software which is free to download from our website.
The software uses flow chart programming and gives you six possible instructions to use, just select your configuration of hardware, select your flow chart blocks, configure these, then connect them to give the right flow for your task, and then download to the base unit.
