What is a solution?
“A means of solving a problem or dealing with a difficult situation”
It is, in my humble opinion, a product/products which add value to the customer – whether that means some items assembled on a DIN Rail or supplied in a control panel with PLC / HMI , all programmed and ready to use.
Personally, I find discussing a solution more interesting than just trying to offer a product as an alternative to the existing item. When I can understand what will make a difference to my customer and that it may enable them to sell at a higher price due to functionality, to build the machine in a more efficient way, or sell more of their machines against their competition, this is where I find I build long term relationships with my customers. Together we solve the issue.
Phoenix Contact has a fantastic array of products covering most components, and also software, required within a control panel. With this product range we can offer solutions to you. Our main industry focus areas consist of Automotive, Process, Oil and Gas, Solar, Urban Infrastructure (Water, Waste Water, Traffic Infrastructure and Power Generation) and Wind, but we want to discuss challenges that all OEMs /System Integrators face so we can then provide a solution to the problem/issue.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss your challenging problems so we can work with you to use our components to overcome an issue or improve a machine.
We have run campaigns where we have focused on the current challenges of Speed and Connectivity, Achieving Compliance, and now Availability, Security and Efficiency. We have highlighted where our products can be used together to enable these challenges to be met.
Whether it be how to integrate safety technology in your machine, how to avoid expensive downtime, how to communicate to your machines throughout the world, or how to reduce your production time with quicker installation via modular solutions, please give Phoenix Contact a call.
