Good morning everyone and welcome to my second written blog of the year! Alternatively, as you may have seen, I have been desperately trying to maintain my youth by filming vlogs instead of writing blogs. But with these fancy 4K HD cameras we have, there’s no hiding the sprouting grey hair on my chin or the wrinkles around my eyes making it rather clear that I am in fact a man in my 30’s.
Moving swiftly on….
So you’re probably used to seeing a blog here, right?
Well after Andy’s new found fame in front of the camera when he was over in Germany for the PMM, we thought we could utilise his talents and introduce a vlog to add a slight difference to your Monday morning.
In this weeks vlog Andy is going to show you how easy it is to use some of his products and how quickly you can achieve exactly what you need in regards to marking and installation.

Happy new year everyone. I hope you all had a nice Christmas, for me it was my first one with an excited toddler who happens to be obsessed with Paddington Bear…so it was marmalade sandwiches all round!

Morning everyone. Thanks for clicking the link and welcome to another Monday morning rambling from myself, only this time on RFID markers. I can sense the excitement!
I have blogged about RFID before, and with the reputation that movie sequels have these days it would appear I’m doomed at keeping your attention with this blog sequel, so let’s hope this blog is more ‘Empire Strikes Back’ and not ‘Jurassic Park II’.

Let’s turn the volume up to 11!
I’ve got a new marking system to tell you about *fanfare music*.
Yes another one!
Here at Phoenix Contact we’ve been launching marking systems on a yearly basis to push the boundaries of where the market sits in the marking world. From LED light curing, to mobile printing on site and even smart integration with EPLAN, Phoenix Contact keeps innovating.
So In the week where Apple launch a phone with facial recognition and wireless charging, in the same month as ‘driver-less lorries’ were planned for our motorways, what am I going to throw out there to tickle your taste buds too? Continue reading

Wow, can it really be that we’ve almost reached the end of 2016 already? I hope that you have enjoyed the team’s blog posts this year, but if there are any that you have missed, I have put together a few highlights for you to look back on. So grab a cup of tea and ease yourself into the festive season…
Beware of cyber attacks
Gareth is the newest member of our blogging team. He is our cyber security specialist, and blogs about the growing awareness of industrial network security. This blog from March really shows that industrial security should be at the top of your list. If you want to know more, join us at one of our Safe & Secure workshops next year where Gareth demonstrates just how easy it can be for hackers to gain access to your networks.

Since Phoenix Contact’s overhaul on the marking world a few years ago, the product range has grown and grown. In some part is a bit of a headache to manage at times, especially when I’m informed that next year over 100 pages will be added to our marking catalogue! I’m not complaining though, it’s good to work for a company with ambition and the foresight to never stop innovating new ideas for marking – plus it keeps me in a job!
This year, the marking range was boosted dramatically with the introduction of RFID technology, (you may recall my ramblings from my last blog). This took Phoenix Contact, in my opinion, to a new level. It set us a part from our competitors. Bold talk, I know, but Phoenix Contact didn’t stop at marking terminals and cables, the possibilities are almost endless. Plus we have the largest marking range in the world now.
