Carbon fuels such as coal and oil were easy to get to and therefore a cheap source of fuel and energy dense. As demand increased they became harder to find and then, of course, the environmental impact became widely known, but by then we were so very dependent on them. Continue reading

Heavycon Evo Combinations

Within one size sleeve housing, 8 variants can be achieved.

The Heavycon Evo B series plastic range, manufactured in fiberglass-reinforced Polyamide was first launched in 2013. The product offered many features and benefits. Being able to combine cable glands in both vertical and horizontal orientation on the same sleeve housing allowed users to reduce the number of different housings required by 70% compared to industry standard aluminum housings.

The matching cable glands for clamp sizes M20 to M40 could be freely combined with any sleeve and base element in sizes B6, B10, B16, and B24, minimising the number of variants. This reduced stock holding overheads and reduced time spent on design by using components that were quick and easy to assemble contributing to overall savings.

So, with that in mind, I thought it would be interesting to list my personal favourite products/solutions we have launched in the 8 years I have been here.
