Ask any engineer what is important when they want to use remote access and the same answers always come back…..
- Simplicity
- Reliability
You have to satisfy the basic IT/Ethernet requirements in order to establish a connection to a remote system and it is not easy to do unless you are an IT specialist.
So at Phoenix Contact we do this bit for you…
Phoenix Cyber Security have been providing the mGuard Secure Cloud successfully for years now.
It is simple, reliable and FREE as a basic user.
Here’s how it works…
The mGuard Secure Cloud uses IPsec VPNs and ensures the confidentiality, authenticity and integrity of data transmitted between your devices.
- You connect to the Cloud portal via your PC and create a user profile, username/Password…
- Create your remote access client profile using either a dedicated VPN client or a free supported version (Shrewsoft).
- Create your machine configuration for your chosen endpoint hardware keeping the IP address within your chosen subnet. *
Now you are ready to connect…..SIMPLE!
(The Secure Cloud servers are based in a high availability data centre in Germany in accordance with accordance with the most stringent data protection standards)
