This year is no different. However, we made sure that the participants got a totally new experience.<\/p>\n<p>2014 is the year of the Brazilian World Cup so in line with this, we decided to use the World Cup theme as a basis for this training.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Day 1<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As with all training, prior to starting, all players should warm up their bodies to avoid injuries and also to bring the body to peak performance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0337.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6723\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0337-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Basic Training Warmup\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0336.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6725\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0336-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Basic Training Warmup 1\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With that, the training officially begins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0341.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6727\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0341-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"ICC - Steffi\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0342.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6726\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0342-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"ICC_Audience\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Industrial Cabinet Connectivity Trainer, Steffi Lim, gave the participants a run-through our extensive range of Terminal Blocks and related accessories.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0347.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6728\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0347-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0347\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Followed by TRABTECH Trainer, Samuel Chua, trying hard to help the trainees understand the concept of Surge Protection.<\/p>\n<p>Nutrition is also part and parcel of a good training regime so we made sure that our trainees are well-fed so that they are fit both in mind and body.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0357.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6730\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/05\/IMG_0357-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0357\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Day<\/strong><strong> 2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Since the World Cup is played by 32 teams divided into groups, so too were our trainees. \u00a0And like their World Cup counterparts, there were &#8216;drawn&#8217;
