The four dip-coated modules also offer excellent protection in extreme environments against dust, corrosive gases, or in 100% humidity, and are compliant with the railway directive EN 50155.<\/p>\n

The power supply units supply output currents from 3.5 to 40\u00a0A at rated output voltages of 12, 24, and 48\u00a0V\u00a0DC. The SFB (Selective Fuse Breaking) technology reliably trips standard circuit breakers, for maximum availability of connected loads.<\/p>\n
Faulty current paths are thus selectively turned off, the fault is immediately localized, and important system components remain operational. The 40 A module, for example, supplies a peak current of 215\u00a0A for 12 milliseconds to magnetically trip circuit breakers.<\/p>\n
The preventive function monitoring of voltage and current visualizes critical operating states and signals them to the control system via the active switching output or the floating relay contact before faults can occur. With the Power Boost power reserve, the 1.5 x rated current is available for starting consumers with high inrush currents reliably, without the rated output voltage dipping.<\/p>\n
