As a Malaysian, I grew up living in landed property houses; we are lucky in the sense where we have more land area for the individual to enjoy. Why do we love landed property so much? Well, you can easily associate the lifestyle of living in landed properties with building your control panel with single of double deck terminal blocks. Let me show you why.<\/p>\n

Landed Property<\/p><\/div>\n

Like terminal blocks, if you have the luxury of a\u00a0large panel space, single feed trough or double deck terminal blocks are definitely your choices. The reason is the same, be it living in a single story or double stories houses, we get the luxury to enjoy how easy to access our own parking spaces and not to forget the additional room for privacy. Being able to terminate your cables to single deck terminal blocks makes your work easier without confusion. Not forgetting that you will be able to individually label your terminal block; imagine how neat your cable termination will end up.<\/p>\n

Living in a landed property, I can renovate my house as and when I like. I don\u2019t have to worry if I have caused any disturbance to my neighbours. Same goes for\u00a0terminal blocks. If you have single deck terminal blocks in the panel, as and when you would like to do modification; you just do it without affecting other signals.<\/p>\n

The list of benefits will go on, we have to admit that there are many benefits of living in landed property houses. However, we need to face the facts. Even in the urban\u00a0areas in Malaysia, there are many people struggling with the space issue. If nature took away our luxury of enjoying space, does this means we need to suffer from now on? Not necessary.<\/p>\n

I was introduced to HDB (Housing and Development Board) flats when I came to\u00a0Singapore. As we all know, Singapore is one of the smallest countries in the world where\u00a05.6 million people are sharing a 719km\u00b2 piece of land. Living in Singapore, you will definitely have to forgo your luxury to enjoy space. However, there is always a brighter side to things!<\/p>\n

To\u00a0my surprise I actually love my life living in a HDB flat. Let me associate living in HDB flats with our multi-level terminal block \u2013 PTRV and PTMC so you understand\u00a0why.<\/p>\n

Despite the fact that I have limited space, things are much cozier for me and the satisfying feeling of \u201cless is more\u201d. With 3 of us in a family, living in a 3-bedroom house is just perfect. There is not\u00a0too much to worry about keeping\u00a0tidy\u00a0or how many bathrooms to clean; everybody just have to play a minimal part to help maintain the flat. To explain this same \u201cJust nice\u201d feeling, let me set you an example. When you\u2019re having a 1mm\u00b2 cable, terminating it to a 2,5mm\u00b2 terminal block size will be overkill. That just means\u00a0a waste\u00a0of real estate. However, if you terminate the same 1mm\u00b2 cables to a 1,5mm\u00b2 terminal block; it fits just right, with a little to spare!<\/p>\n

Living in a flat doesn\u2019t mean I have to forgo my parking space or personal space, HDB still offers private parking areas and private open areas! In a HDB flat, each of the levels has a private small area where it is just nice for you to put some plants or your shoe racks without disturbing your neighbor. Just like our multi-level terminal blocks (PTRV and PTMC) also offers individual test holes for testing. By saying this, you are still able to individually test your connections without disturbing other signals that are connected below or above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even when we are sharing the same block with 50 other neighbours; to reach home is simplicity itself, thanks to the lifts service in a HDB flat. Individual housing address allows us to identify our unit easily. It helps even more when we have our gate painted in a different color. Same goes to Phoenix Contact PTRV and PTMC terminal blocks, each of the levels comes with individual labeling, color coding and slanted design so you are able to locate the terminals easily when you do installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
