So called electronic device circuit breakers are fast replacing standard AC circuit breakers as the first choice.&nbsp; Despite AC breakers being lower cost the technical advantages of DC electronic breakers to protect critical loads and the peace of mind that brings is driving a rapid growth in their usage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of our more popular products is the 4 channel <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"CBMC electronic circuit breaker (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/online\/portal\/gb?1dmy&amp;urile=wcm%3apath%3a\/gben\/web\/main\/products\/subcategory_pages\/Multi-channel_electronic_circuit_breakers_P-17-01-05-04\/8d3cceb3-9e57-48ba-829d-e709e7f60dc5?cpn=blog\" target=\"_blank\">CBMC electronic circuit breaker<\/a>. Each channel can be individually set up to a maximum of 10A to protect the connected loads. In our Vlog we are featuring a version with an IO-link interface which now enables remote access to the device via platforms such as Proficloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Phoenix Contact\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/online\/portal\/gb?1dmy&amp;urile=wcm%3apath%3a\/gben\/web\/main\/products\/subcategory_pages\/Industrial_Cloud-Computing_P-30\/f00896f6-4e69-43eb-92a9-38f7d2378ae6?cpn=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"PROFICLOUD (opens in a new tab)\">PROFICLOUD<\/a> is a platform for IoT-based automation systems. It utilises an analytic software tool called Time Series Data or TSD. PROFICLOUD is used for integrating new and existing systems without additional engineering costs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this example we have used the Time Series Data service to monitor a Phoenix Contact CBMC as described by Product Manager Mark Lloyd.
