S5, S7300, S7400 DSC-T BASED G4 MASTER INTERBUS SYSTEM<\/p><\/div>\n

Does your company currently have an extensive Interbus network running an essential part of your control infrastructure controlled by a Siemens Simatic S5, S7 300 or S7 400 PLC?<\/p>\n

With the release of the S7 1200 and S7 1500 PLCs and the phasing out of the Simatic S5 and more recently the Simatic S7 300 and 400 PLCs, companies are faced with the issue of how to upgrade their control systems without having to rip out extensive Interbus Network components to replace them with a new Profinet infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Phoenix Contact has the answer. The FL PND- 4TX IB<\/a> and The FL PND-4TX IB-LK<\/a> for Fibre Optic connection.<\/p>\n

The FL PND- 4TX IB is a full Interbus G4 Master. It acquires the existing Interbus network configuration frame via the PLC configuration software and the supplied GSDML file.<\/p>\n

The device connects the Interbus network to the PLC control system via Profinet and the data is then mapped to the PLC.<\/p>\n
