This year has been a great year Phoenix Contact and I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed our blog posts and discovered how our great products can help you and your business.<\/p>\n<p>But if there are any that you have missed, would like to revisit, or you just need a little break from the last manic Monday of the year; I have put together some of the year\u2019s best blog\u2019s, so grab yourself a brew (or mulled wine and mince pie, it is Christmas after all) and revisit our industry highlights of the year.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>#MARKINGTHENATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/assets\/images_ed\/local_gb\/web_content_3col\/pic_con3_gb_0020433_en.jpg\" alt=\"rfid_marking\" width=\"676\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of our major campaigns this year was <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23markingthenation&amp;src=typd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">#MarkingTheNation<\/a> from Andy Neat, who introduced the industry to the latest developments in marking. Andy\u2019s unique blogging style has always proved popular and the blog that stood out for me this year was his introduction of <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/monday-blog-rfid-marking-life-short\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RFID marking<\/a> and how it can save you both time and money. Another cracker (pun intended) was Andy\u2019s introduction to how Phoenix Contact is constantly innovating and inspiring in<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/discover-newest-innovations-industrial-marking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Industrial Marking <\/a>and how this can help your business. Watch out in 2018, where Andy is going to take #markingthenation to a different level &#8211; look for special offers and competitions<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Power of a Smart Networks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/assets\/images_ed\/local_gb\/web_content_3col\/pic_con3_gb_0020436_en.jpg\" alt=\"ss_blog_review\" width=\"676\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2017 had a huge focus on Cyber Security and Smart Networks. Our Safe &amp; Secure seminars proved popular again in 2017. This <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/safe-secure-remote-access-flawless-10-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog <\/a>written by Gareth, from earlier on in 2017, on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/online\/portal\/gb?1dmy&amp;urile=wcm%3apath%3a\/gben\/web\/main\/service_and_support\/seminars\/seminars_home\/3dcbf77c-5cdf-4c4d-b734-4bf1ea20b1ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Safe and Secure Workshops<\/a> illustrates that industrial security should be at the top of everyone\u2019s list. Make sure to register now to join us for next year\u2019s Safe and Secure Workshops, where Gareth will demonstrate how easy it is for hackers to gain access to your networks. Yet another important blog from this year was from Tony Deane on the introduction of <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/proficloud-secure-profinet-data-transfer-across-regional-international-borders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PROFICLOUD<\/a> and how powerful it can be in helping your business, without expense or complication.\u00a0In 2018 we\u2019ll officially launch our Smart Networks Campaign where Gareth will be running workshops and special events throughout the year, watch this space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspiring Innovations of 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/assets\/images_ed\/local_gb\/web_content_3col\/pic_con3_gb_0020437_en.jpg\" width=\"676\" height=\"708\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Phoenix Contact has launched numerous products this year and the two blogs that stand out for me on this subject, is <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/turn-phoenix-contact-switching-offers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fraser\u2019s blog<\/a> on what\u2019s new in best switching and how we will do just about anything we can to help your industry connect, control and automate your applications. Another great innovation this year, is the narrowest surge protection yet, the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/termitrab-blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TERMITRAB COMPLETE<\/a> was introduced to us in a blog by Mark Lloyd who discussed who could benefit from the brilliant innovation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data-Signal-Power<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/assets\/images_ed\/local_gb\/web_content_3col\/pic_con3_gb_0020446_en.jpg\" alt=\"robot_image\" width=\"676\" height=\"575\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our position as a global market leader in device connection technology, industrial control and automation solutions is explored in Duncan\u2019s blog on <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/data-signal-power\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">solutions for a connected world. <\/a>\u00a0An additional member of the DC team, Karl, blogs on <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/new-improved-combicon-product-configurator-3d-visualisation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Combicon Product Configurators<\/a> with 3D visualisation breaks down the many options Phoenix Contact offers for terminal blocks and connectors. \u00a0A stand out blog for me from this year has to be another from Duncan who explores the market of <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/electric-vehicles-stay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">electric vehicles <\/a>and discusses why he thinks they are here for the long-haul.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Industry Solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixcontact.com\/assets\/images_ed\/local_gb\/web_content_3col\/pic_con3_gb_0020447_en.jpg\" alt=\"industry_solution_image\" width=\"676\" height=\"383\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With the importance of solar power and the environment becoming ever more prevalent throughout the world, our industry manager Nigel blogs about our<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/phoenix-contact-world-building-automation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Building Automation Solutions,<\/a> and what Phoenix Contact can do for you. Nigel also explored the<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/phoenix-contact-world-water\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> world of water <\/a>in 2017, whether it is clean water, wastewater or solutions for your own systems, Phoenix Contact has the answer. A member of Nigel\u2019s team is Dave Hall who focussed on the process industry when talking about <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.phoenixcontact.com\/marketing-gb\/clipsafe-everything-single-source\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clipsafe,<\/a> a product launched for 2017 and can be used in numerous applications, where everything comes from a single source.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, all that\u2019s left to say now is that I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
