\"UCSWhen designing electronic devices the choice of available enclosures can be overwhelming and consist of numerous decisions you have to make, resulting in a long list of component parts you have to order. With the new UCS enclosure range<\/a> from Phoenix Contact you have 4 sizes to choose from and the option to increase the standard height of 47mm with innovative corner height adaptors to 67mm. The UCS enclosure meets the standard form factors of embedded system printed circuit boards (PCBs) so is an ideal way of building your electronic systems using these products or for creating your own design using similar sized PCBs.<\/p>\n

The UCS enclosure has functional corners with various options for PCB\u00a0mounting, wall mounting, collision protection and stacking adaptors. A number of accessories are available enabling din rail mounting, desk stands and coloured corner inserts available in 3 colour variants.<\/p>\n

The upper and lower shells are identical in size and shape and allow PCBs to be attached to them enabling easy expansion within the UCS enclosure system. This is achieved by utilising the corner inserts with screw boss to fasten the PCB\u00a0to or individual screw bosses enabling the PCB\u00a0to be positioned in any location within the enclosure.<\/p>\n

All 4 side panels of the UCS are removable and flat enabling them to be modified easily to accommodate connection technologies for power, signal and data applications and are available in both 47mm and 67mm heights.<\/p>\n

The UCS enclosure system offers you an adjustable solution for all of your design needs and the flexibility of removable side walls for your customisation requirements.<\/p>\n
