RJ45 ‘Gender Changer’ module<\/strong> – for use with all our RJ45 modules, and for use with all Patch Cable brands. \u00a0Part number: \u00a01419886\u00a0 HC-M-RJ45-08-GC-F\/F.<\/a><\/p>\n

These Phoenix Contact\u00a0patch cables (from catalogue 4 page 375) fit Module 1419885:<\/p>\n

RJ45 module for field wireable RJ45s<\/strong> (includes Cat. 6A, 10 Gigabit RJ45 =1418853). \u00a0Part Number: 1419887 HC-M-RJ45-08-M<\/a><\/p>\n

These are the only (at the moment) Phoenix Contact RJ Industrial connectors that fit into Module 1419888:<\/p>\n

Phoenix Contact RJ45s that fit into module 1419885<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not all RJ45 patch cables are suitable for module 1419885 – because the ‘heads’\/strain relief forms are all different, and the Module Adapter that is used to hold the RJ45 tightly, must be designed to fit the specific RJ45!<\/p>\n

Below illustrates how the form of the RJ45 is repeated in the internal shape of the Module Adapter:<\/p>\n

Because of footprint, it is untenable to create Module Adapters to fit all RJ45 types.<\/p>\n

Below shows a number of different Phoenix Contact RJ45s, and indicated are the ones which one do, or do not, fit into 1419885:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

For some of these connectors, it is not only the shape that prevents it from fitting into 1419885; also the height of the connectors is the problem, because our single modules are only 14mm high, so most of these connectors cannot fit into the single modules.<\/p>\n
