Phoenix Contact actively supports a number of industries with Corporate Industry Teams based at Phoenix Contact in Bad Pyrmont, Germany. These teams consist of Global Industry Managers supported by Business Development teams and application support teams.<\/p>\n

\"Industry<\/p>\n

The industry team takes solution ideas and develops them into concepts, tests them and then, with the application and software engineers, creates individual products or box style solutions which enable the customer to then integrate these into their overall project.<\/p>\n

These new solutions are\u00a0backed up by application reports which advise engineers on how to implement these solutions into a customer\u2019s project.<\/p>\n

The industry teams have created solutions across various industries, including Solar<\/a>, Wind<\/a>, Process<\/a>, Automotive<\/a> and Infrastructure<\/a>.\u00a0The teams make the most of the product innovations supplied by the product business units, with class leading products across remote access<\/a>, wireless<\/a>, safety<\/a> and protection<\/a> at the heart of the solutions.<\/p>\n

\"Industries\"<\/p>\n

Finally, not forgetting the software team! They have created various packages which can be used to simplify the engineering of such solutions by allowing the engineer to configure the solution rather than writing the code to complete the program.\u00a0 Industry specific packages which are compliant with IEC61131 programming have been created with function block libraries to support these packages,\u00a0saving the software engineer time,\u00a0safe in the knowledge that\u00a0the function blocks have been tested to high specifications.<\/p>\n
