The energy market trend towards decentralisation of power generation (typically renewable generation) has increased the number of interfaces and therefore switchgears that need to be checked frequently.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

FAME has been developed to provide a fast, convenient and safe means of testing switchgear in the energy arena. The system is modular and highly configurable whilst having options of screw or push in termination and complete compatibility with the CLIPLINE accessories range.<\/p>\n

FAME is installed in Current & Voltage Transformers secondary circuits.<\/p>\n

\"FAME\"<\/p>\n

There is a fundamental requirement that CT secondary circuits must be short circuited before measurements are made. If the Circuits are opened, overvoltage is created leading to the very real possibilities of electrocution of the operators and the transformers critically exploding.<\/p>\n

\"fame2\"<\/p>\n

FAME,\u00a0\u00a0with its leading pin configuration (please see videos below for demonstration of this principle), initially creates a short circuit which makes the subsequent testing safe for both the operator and the system\/equipment.<\/p>\n

\"FAME\"<\/p>\n

For many years, the only measuring options were switchable modular terminal blocks or simple test sockets without contact protection. As these test sockets were not modular, it was often necessary to adapt the application to the product characteristics in terms of the number of pins and functions.<\/p>\n

Fame is the modern, fast and safe solution for this requirement.<\/p>\n

Once FAME is configured and installed, the manual element of pre-configuring circuits with sliding link and test bridges (ME terminal blocks) is removed. The subsequent tests are above all, fast, repeatable and safe. Because FAME can be mounted on the exterior of the panel, tests can be made without a qualified electrician\/electrical engineer opening the panel (and exposing live circuits).<\/p>\n

FAME is available in two versions:<\/p>\n
